I am an economist with more than a decade of experience in applied research to inform policy and practice related to socioeconomic development and health in Canada – particularly among rural and remote communities, Indigenous Peoples and other economically vulnerable populations.
I am an expert in quantitative research methods – including the evaluation of policies and programs on relevant outcomes – and communicating evidence-based insights to diverse audiences. Further, I have a proven track record in leading research initiatives and teams, resulting in 28 peer-reviewed publications, supported by more than $3.5 million in grants.
I recently returned to Canada after an academic appointment in the United States. I am actively seeking new employment opportunities in academia, government or the private sector that blend rigorous research with real-world impact.
